Jhumi Jain
CPS’25, MS Regulatory Affairs
Jhumi Jain earned a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs (Medical Devices) from Northeastern University in December 2025. Her work focuses on addressing complex global regulatory challenges to help bring safe and innovative drugs, biologics, medical devices, and combination products to patients worldwide. With over six years of international regulatory experience, Jhumi has supported global regulatory strategy and submissions across major markets. Her professional and consulting experience at Novo Nordisk, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), PPD (Thermo Fisher Scientific), Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, and Combination Products Consulting Services shaped her interest in global regulatory policy and product lifecycle management. Jhumi served as Vice President of the Regulatory Affairs Student Organization (RASO) at the Northeastern University, where she collaborated with global regulatory organizations such as PDA, ISPE, and RAPS to strengthen the RGA community at Northeastern. She enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling in her free time.

Samihah Khan
Bouvé’26, MS Speech Language Pathology
Samihah Khan is a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology pursuing a Master of Science degree at Northeastern University. Her professional interests center on equity in communication access, community-centered care, and addressing language and communication challenges among underserved and justice-involved populations. These interests are rooted in her interdisciplinary research exploring the intersection of communication disorders and the school-to-confinement pipeline, which she has presented at national and state conferences, including ASHA and NCSHLA. Through coursework, clinical experiences such as the Aphasia Advocacy Academy, and leadership as President of NUSSHLA, she has developed a strong commitment to inclusive, human-centered practice. Outside the classroom, she enjoys mentoring peers and creating spaces that foster connection, culture, and belonging.
Addya Khasne
Addya Khasne
S’26, MS Cell and Gene Therapies
Addya is a candidate for Master of Science in Cell and Gene Therapies from College of Science. She is passionate about working in healthcare and contributing to society by helping make patient’s lives better through personalized therapies. Her interest in precision medicine began during her undergraduate studies in Biotechnology. Here at Northeastern, as a summer research volunteer on the Burlington campus, she was first introduced to hands-on techniques in protein biochemistry, and the interest in that deepened during a fall research experience in Professor Sunny Zhou’s lab studying antibody-drug conjugates. She now continues this path on co-op at GlycoEra, a company developing biologics for autoimmune diseases, realizing the promise of precision immunology. Since her first semester, Addya has been active in Graduate Student Government, starting as a senator and now serving as Vice President for Student Affairs, where she focuses on working towards making the student life better at Northeastern better for her fellow graduate students.
