Emilia Nirmala
Bouvé’25, DPT Physical Therapy, Movement, and Rehabilitation Sciences
Emilia is a third-year doctor of physical therapy student at Northeastern, specializing in sports performance. Through clinical rotations and a co-op experience, she has worked with diverse patient populations to help individuals of all cultures and conditions restore function. Emilia is actively involved in student leadership, having served as President of Northeastern’s AAOMPT Student Special Interest Group and a member of APTA Massachusetts’ DEI Committee. She also leads the Young Adult Committee of the Indonesian Muslim Society of America. She has volunteered in adaptive sports and community health initiatives, signaling her commitment to helping underrepresented minorities.
