Condit Award
Sears B. Condit was a member of Northeastern University’s Corporation from 1936–51 who established an endowed fund to provide scholarships for outstanding scholastic achievement. The honorees—all juniors or seniors—each receive a $3,500 scholarship.

S’25, Mathematics
Devin is a third-year Mathematics student at Northeastern. While at Northeastern, he has participated in MathILyEST undergraduate research program and completed an actuarial co-op with John Hancock. Additionally, he has served as a Math department grader and is currently conducting research related to the representation theory of quantum groups and crystals as an AJC Merit Research Scholar.

KCS’25, Computer Science and Behavioral Neuroscience
Neeti is a third-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Behavioral Neuroscience. She has completed a co-op as a software engineer at E Ink Corporation, where she built tools for electronic ink panels as part of the Advanced Display Systems team. She is currently a Python software engineering co-op at MORSE Corp, where she tests and evaluates AI models and datasets. Neeti is passionate about the intersection of neuroscience and technology and using technology for social good. She is a software developer at Code4Community, an organization at Northeastern that develops software solutions for nonprofits. She works with a team building an HR management system for an organization that helps young adults experiencing homelessness find employment. Additionally, she is a research assistant at the Movement Neuroscience Laboratory, where she helps with data processing and visualization for research publications. She is a Husky Ambassador and is the editorial director of Spoon Magazine.

SSH’25, Criminal Justice and Journalism
Lila is a rising senior studying journalism, criminal justice, and psychology. With an interest in the intersection between mental health and modern media, Lila continues to report on the rapidly evolving field of journalism and the technology that accompanies it. She currently covers breaking news for The Boston Globe, writing about local crime, sightings of endangered whales, and everything in between. She also works as a research assistant investigating the role of the press in its perpetuation of antisemitism. Originally from Concord, Massachusetts, Lila spends her free time contributing to student publications and hosting a radio show on WRBB.

Lateefat is a fourth-year Pharmacy Student in the six-year PharmD program aspiring to pursue a career in infectious diseases, ambulatory care, or academia. She’s passionate about problem solving, teaching, and learning from others. Currently serving as co-president for the Northeastern University Pharmacy Student Alliance (NUPSA), Lateefat is the secretary and past public relations chair for END Initiative, and the past Leadership Chair for Phi Delta Chi Pharmacy Fraternity. Additionally, she is a School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS) Ambassador. She completed two co-op positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she served as an outpatient pharmacy intern and an oncology clinical trials pharmacy intern, and a co-op at New England Baptist Hospital as an IV Room/OR Pharmacy Intern.

E’25, Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry
Dom is a third-year Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry major interested in disease research. He has worked in the laboratory of Professor Ryan Koppes for two years studying organ-on-chip technology, specifically to develop an alternative preclinical screening platform for cardiovascular diseases. Dom finished his first co-op as a Bioprocess Engineer at Visterra, Inc., and will begin his second co-op at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a Research Technician. He has been very involved in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), serving as the student club’s president from 2023 to 2024. Dom has gained a love for research and teaching, which he hopes to apply to a PhD program and work toward his life’s passion of helping people live longer, healthier lives.

Bianca is a rising fourth-year student pursuing a BS in Business Administration, concentrations in Finance and Accounting, and Psychology minor. A Dean’s Scholarship recipient, she is passionate about her studies and strives to be the best in her area of expertise. During her semesters as a TA for Financial Accounting, she guided fellow students to reach their potential and deepen their understanding of the subject. As a second-year student, she completed a rigorous co-op at Blackstone on the SEC reporting team, where she was highly commended for her contribution to the team’s success. Bianca is honored to accept this award and is humbled to be recognized for her hard work and contributions at Northeastern.

SSH’25, Political Science and Business Administration, Management concentration
Alexis is a third-year Honors student working toward a BS in Political Science and Business Management, with minors in Sociology and Law and Public Policy. She aspires to attend law school following graduation. Driven by a passion for public health policy and legal advocacy, Alexis is dedicated to addressing public health crises and corporate ethics. Her motivation stems from her research at the Action Lab at the Center for Health, Policy, and Law and her engagement in the “Law, Policy, and Behavior” course with Professor Richard Daynard. Alexis is excited to explore this area during her co-op at the Public Health Advocacy Institute and has conveyed her findings by writing articles for the Northeastern University Political Review. She is an active member of the Northeastern University Dance Company, and has taught dance at Urbanity Dance and the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester.
