Maya Krattli

S’23, Marine Biology

Maya Krattli is a second-year Stamps Scholar studying marine biology and Spanish. She aspires to attain her doctorate in marine biology and investigate corals’ adaptation to climate change. At Northeastern, she has explored this interest by conducting a PEAK Fellowship in the Bowen Lab, where her research explored salt marsh fungal communities. Maya is currently conducting a co-op at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, where she analyzes reef carbonate chemistry. Maya takes an active role on campus through her work on the Honors Events Council, the marine robotics club electrical sub-team, and the executive board of the Marine Biology Club.
